A poll of musical experts has said that Celine Dion is responsible for the worst cover song ever. Six years ago in Las Vegas, Dion performed AC/Dc’s You Shook Me All Night Long. See the BBC story.

William Shatner did not make even the bottom five. As you can see (at 1:32 into the video), he was robbed.

That is really awful. I can’t believe it didn’t make the bottom 5. Anyone talking their way through a song is down near the bottom, but that one is especially ‘special.’ Now I can’t get it out of my mind. Oh no! I am going to have cheesy orchestra music and talk-singing in my head all day now.
I know, Celine Dion’s quite the competitor isn’t she?
A popular yet terrible song, My Way…
You make a fair point, Lexi. Not even the great Frank Sinatra could make that steaming pile of a song sound good. What made Mr Shatner believe that he could?
