That ’70s Stuff

In 1977, I was 26 and had been married a year. See how I dressed and my dining room on the 15 Minute Lunch blog here. After this, go watch Battle of the Network Stars II. Fifteen year old Kristy McNichol is so cute.

My name is Norm Benson and my Lowdermilk manuscript is out for beta review. This is the story of Walter and Inez Lowdermilk, an American couple who came to see soil erosion as a threat to civilization. Their pursuit of land conservation carried them from China and the Dust Bowl to Palestine, where their ideas about reclaiming the land helped build the case for the creation of Israel.

  1. The 70s were the decade that God forgot.

Thanks for the link, it made me hoot. Coincidentally, I’m going to a 70s party tomorrow, but am refusing to wear the clothes.

    Any other decade, I would…

  2. Interesting, TB, living in England the 70’s had its moments, but from what I remember it was a very dull time with one or two great America tv shows, though, there again I think we had a few of our own.

Thank you for sharing it with us

  3. Saturday Night Fever made disco fashionable again and You Light Up My Life by Debby Boone stayed at #1 for 10 weeks in the US.

Great TV: Wonder Woman, Battle of the Network Stars, Laverne and Shirley, and What’s Happening
