Well, sorry to say, Teecino is not the perfect coffee substitute. I bought Maya Caffé ($9) and the Java ($8) flavors. They smell great, by the way, but they aren’t COFFEE, missing that je ne sais quoi…bitterness, n’est pas?
Not quite coffee

My name is Norm Benson and my Lowdermilk manuscript is out for beta review. This is the story of Walter and Inez Lowdermilk, an American couple who came to see soil erosion as a threat to civilization. Their pursuit of land conservation carried them from China and the Dust Bowl to Palestine, where their ideas about reclaiming the land helped build the case for the creation of Israel. Norm, you have to accept it; only coffee is coffee.
What about a nice cup of tea? Made properly with loose leaves in a teapot. Delicious.

Lexi
Never acauired a taste for it. Plus, black tea (and green to a lesser extent)is nearly as bad as coffee, what with its caffeine and acid.
Acid reflux and ulcers have a tough time with all the important food groups: coffee, fats, sugars, and alcohol.
