Not quite coffee

Well, sorry to say, Teecino is not the perfect coffee substitute. I bought Maya Caffé ($9) and the Java ($8) flavors. They smell great, by the way, but they aren’t COFFEE, missing that je ne sais quoi…bitterness, n’est pas?

  1. Norm, you have to accept it; only coffee is coffee.

What about a nice cup of tea? Made properly with loose leaves in a teapot. Delicious.

  2. Never acauired a taste for it. Plus, black tea (and green to a lesser extent)is nearly as bad as coffee, what with its caffeine and acid.

Acid reflux and ulcers have a tough time with all the important food groups: coffee, fats, sugars, and alcohol.
